The second set of talks for the day will be a medley of 10-minute talks on the Ports of the tidal River Severn (Martin Bryan); the effects of the River Thames on canal traffic (Lois Francis); Stroudwater canal trade during the Napoleonic War, 1804-1815 (Sam Benson); Harnessing power through history (Jane Ford of the Stroudwater Textile Trust), commencing at 13:30 on Saturday 5th September 2026.
